Stone Wolf Guitars
Stone Wolf Guitars
Stone Wolf Guitars is a 2 man team comprising of Mike Payne & Martin Pape. They handbuild all their instruments and have a very open minded attitude when it comes to building methods as materials, as seen in their liberal use of resins, exotic burls and layered fabric tops. Stone Wolf are always looking to do something interesting and different but still keeping the core belief that everything must be built to an extremely high standard, using the highest quality components that they can obtain.
AJ Williams Guitars
AJ Williams Guitars
AJ Williams has been passionate about guitars for a number of years now. His earliest recollection, was being introduced to guitars by his late father, aged around 10.
AJ Williams ethos on guitars is simple – the emphasis is focused on creating individual instruments that connect with the artist, just as the artist connects with their audience and an instrument that sounds great, feels great and looks great, constructed from quality tonewoods.

Sollophonic Guitars
Sollophonic Guitars
Sollophonic Guitars are Solid-Bodied Resonator Guitars. They are designed to give a number of uses from one instrument. They have the playability, durability and the portability of an electric guitar, yet they don’t rely on having an amp. They have the volume of an acoustic, without the bulk and the high action. They also give a resonator guitar tone, at a lower volume than standard resonators, ideal for when you are playing with quieter instruments, or don’t want to disturb the neighbours/wake the kids.
McCrerie Guitars
McCrerie Guitars
Bespoke, Handcrafted electric guitars by Duncan McCrerie. McCrerie guitars have developed an original idea which increases the natural sustain of the guitar, which is inherently missing in the “Bolt-on style neck” models. This is not achieved by electronic technology, but incorporated into the manufacturing process and thus is a permanent feature of these guitars. A bonus of this design is to enable me to reduce the thickness of the “Heel” to 12mm allowing easy access to the upper frets of the neck.
Brian Watson Basses
Brian Watson Basses
Brian Watson ia a luthier based Yorkshire, England. Brian has been a professional bassist and luthier for over 20 years. As a keen musician and bass enthusiast he combines his passion for music with his talent for instrument creation. Brian produces high quality bespoke bass guitars, individually suited to the player, designed and handcrafted with the player in mind.
Martyn Booth Guitars
Martyn Booth Guitars
A luthier since 1975, Martyn worked for both Gibson and then Yamaha guitars in the UK where he designed the MSG/Image guitar which has become something of a cult classic. In 1991 he set up his own business in the Suffolk countryside and in the mid 1990’s was also a reviewer and columnist for Guitarist and Guitar Techniques magazines. Since 2002 he has been building his own range of hand crafted guitars using tried and tested traditional construction techniques to the same “no compromise” standards which have been the hallmark of his career.
Brian Eastwood Guitars
Brian Eastwood Guitars
Brian Eastwood is a well-known master luther from the NW England. He makes some wonderful innovative and beautiful guitars. Having built his first guitar because he could not afford to buy one, he has gone to make guitars for many big name artistes such as Peter Hook co-founder of Joy Division and New Order. The guitar was built from part of the dance floor from Manchester’s iconic Hacienda night club.
Longfellow Guitars
Longfellow Guitars
Based in London Peter Longfellow makes real works of art. A range of wonderfully crafted guitars made with aircraft grade aluminium sheet, welded around an aluminium infrastructure. A fellow of the Royal College of Art in London, these instruments reflect Peter’s eye for innovative art and design.

Wunnadem Guitars
Wunnadem Guitars
U.K. based metal guitar manufacturer Wunnadem Guitars have re-engineered the guitar neck. They have scalloped them radically not only on the front of the instrument but also around the sides to give a spinal chord effect to the neck. This makes the neck feel thinner in every direction than any other guitar, yet the frets are actually wider than a standard guitar. This makes their guitars easier to play, as you are encouraged to touch the instrument much more softly.
H J Williams Guitars
H J Williams Guitars
It has been 25 years since Haydn Williams started building instruments at a professional level. He has learnt a lot along the way but feels he is still learning his craft, he says that there is always something new to try, be it method or material. Haydn builds a relatively small number of instruments per year. He is focused on quality rather than quantity. Most of his work is built to customer specification. Haydn is a member of the European Guitar Builders Association (EGB)
AC Guitars
AC Guitars
AC Guitars is a small, one-man shop based in Moffat, South West Scotland. In June 2006 with the first commissioned order from Canada, AC Guitars officially came into being. Illness had left Alan unable to do his usual work, but as he recovered, he had time on my hands so he decided to build a guitar. Alan’s first attempt was a hollow bodied Telecaster. On completion he was fairly pleased, but his satisfaction only lasted a week before I decided I could do better. Alan is a member of the European Guitar Builders Association (EGB)
Jim Fleeting Guitars
Jim Fleeting Guitars
Before becoming a luthier, Jim played bass and guitar in bands playing at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, the 100 Club and the Borderline. A year after enrolled in the Guitar course at Merton College in Surrey, he moved to America to train at the prestigious Roberto-Venn School of Luthiery in Arizona. The School enjoys an unparalleled reputation with many former students having been recruited by Collings Guitars, Santa Cruz Guitars, Gibson and Fender, amongst others. Jim began taking in instruments for repair and in January 2006, but a chance meeting at the NAMM show in Los Angeles brought about his return to the UK, and the opening of his workshop in Manchester.

Alpher Instruments
Alpher Instruments

Alpher Instruments making sure all the combinations will work in perfect harmony to create your dream Guitar.
SBC Guitars
SBC Guitars
Scatter-Brain Concepts (SBC) offers ergonomic guitar design, custom made electric guitars and repairs from our North London workshop. SBC was conceived by Stuart Robson, a London based product designer. The core concept was simple; take an electric guitar, strip it back to its essentials and rebuild it. The popular electrics of today are based on guitar designs from decades ago, beautiful and stylish guitars, but guitars based on flawed principles. Guitars have to be made of select woods, bodies have to be of a certain size, weight and shape, etc. I wanted to look at everything that made an electric guitar sing, couple it with everything that made a guitar fun to play, and I guess the traditionalist in me wanted a guitar that was good to look at! With time, a little money and a lot of hard work, the flagship SB3 was born!
Swinglehurst Guitars
Swinglehurst Guitars
Based in North Nottinghamshire, John Swinglehurst has been a Luthier for almost 20 years creating countless guitars that have been sold all over the world and found their way into the hands of some of the worlds most notable players. All guitars are constructed from hand selected timbers to maximise visual impact & tonal possibilities.
Set necks as standard to ensure maximum sustain & tone transfer through both neck & body. Labour intensive, hand rubbed, natural finishes which are both hard wearing & tactile. The oil finish really lets the guitar breathe & resonate, when you play one, you’ll understand the difference over a conventional finish.
Every guitar is a completely individual, one off investment that will be personal to you.
